green kale salad on a plate

How to make it

Pickled onions

  1. Cut the onions in thin slices and place in a clean glass. Boil sugar, vinegar and peppercorns together and pour it over your onions. Store in the fridge until you need it

The salad

  1. Roast your walnuts on a dry pan, with a bit of salt. Put aside after approx. 3-5 minutes

  2. Wash your green kale and remove the kale leaves from the stems and cut into strips

  3. Add oil/butter on a warm pan, and toss your kale around for approx. 5 minutes. I turned my kale a couple of times, and added a bit of salt and pepper

  4. Serve right away with walnuts, pickled onion and some small pieces of goat cheese
