Kaki jam

With citrus and cinnamon

Everyone is used to put their favourite jams on the piece of bread. What you can also do is put some in your porridge or have it with some icecream. There simply is no limit with jams. And this one is really refreshing and not too sweet.



  • 3 kakis

  • 2 big oranges

  • ½ lemon

  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder

  • 100g brown sugar

Kaki jam

How to do it

  1. Squeeze oranges and lemon half

  2. Peel and cut kaki and place in the blender with citrus juice

  3. When blended in a paste put in a saucepan and add sugar

  4. Cook and don't forget to stir so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the saucepan

  5. Cook for 10-15 minutes

  6. When it feels and looks like it has jam consistency, ad some cinnamon and pour it into the jars

  7. Let it cool and then use as desired or store in the fridge (*this jam had no preservatives so try not to keep it in the fridge for too long)
