Green smoothie with pear and kale

This “green” smoothie is an easy recipe that is perfect for breakfast, or as a pre-workout drink. If you leave out the peanut butter the smoothie will be nice and green. With it, it will be more of a chocolate brown color. You can change this smoothie up, depending on the different fruit and greens in your Eat Grim box that week.

Fresh green smoothie with pears and green kale


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 apple (cored, and cubed)

  • 1 pear (cubed)

  • 3 large stalks of kale (stems removed)

  • 2 dl milk 

  • 1 dl frozen fruit or ice cubes

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter 

  • 1 tsp honey

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Combine all the ingredients into the blender and blend on high, until you get a smooth consistency, taste and adjust with more fruit, milk, honey or the likes.
