Oh crumble, such a wonderful baked sweet which can be made from pretty much any fruit imaginable. It is basically a fruit pie. but one that doesn't need as much finesse and time - And we probably all know that spending half a day baking can be a bit of a daunting task. This crumble recipe is perfect for the sweet tooth, but if you're looking to expand your crumble skills, then it is also possible to make savoury versions. For a savoury crumble you simply change out the fruits for your favourite veggies, and leave out adding the sugar.



  • 2 pears

  • 2 plums 

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon  

  • 15 g oatmeal

  • 45 g sugar

  • 45 g wheat flour

  • 50 g soft butter

  • Pinch of salt 

  • Sour cream for serving

How to make it 

  1. Turn your oven on 200 degrees

  2. Wash your fruit, and cut everything in slices and mix with a bit of cinnamon 

  3. Place the fruit in a tray (remember to add a bit of butter in your tray, before adding your fruit – SMURT FORM in danish)

  4. Mix oats, wheat flour, butter, and salt nicely together to a crumble and add to the top of your fruit

  5. Place the crumble in the middle of the oven for about 20 minutes
